Help with the Soon app for iPhone and Mac

My sign-in code didn't arrive

The code comes from login@soon.town. Check your spam or junk folder, and check the address you typed. A code works for 10 minutes, so ask for a new one if it's older.

You can ask for 5 codes an hour. After that, wait an hour and try again. If codes still don't arrive, email us.

Do I have to allow location, contacts and the rest?

No. Location, contacts, calendar, microphone, speech recognition, camera, photos and notifications are all optional. Soon asks the first time a feature needs one. Without it, that feature does less: you type names instead of picking contacts, or search for an address instead of using where you are.

To change one on iPhone, open the Settings app, then Apps, then Soon. On a Mac, open System Settings, then Privacy & Security. You can also turn the calendar off in Soon under Settings, then Calendars, and turn off analytics with Share usage analytics.

How do I delete my account?

In the iPhone app, open Settings and tap Delete account. That deletes your account and everything in it, on every device, and can't be undone. Shared contexts with other people in them stay with those people. The Mac app has no delete button, so use your iPhone or email us from your account's address.

To delete a single task, touch and hold it and tap Delete. To get a copy of your data first, email us. The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.

Where do I get the Mac app?

Download it from soon.town. It needs macOS 26 and updates itself. Sign in with the same email address as on your iPhone and your things show up on both.

How do I share a context?

In Soon, open Settings, then Contexts, then New context. Name it, then tap Send an invite or Copy invite link. To add someone to a context you already share, open it and tap Invite someone.

Each link is for one person and works once, for 7 days. They join with their own Soon account by opening the link, or under Settings, then Contexts, then Join with a code.

Everyone in a shared context sees its tasks and the places and people put into it, plus each other's names and email addresses. Nothing else in your account.
